Current Work

Thomas is the owner of Bookkeeping Conroe, a QuickBooks Online bookkeeping and accounting support firm based in the Greater Houston area and serving clients nationwide. He founded the firm in 2025 after serving as a Bookkeeper / QuickBooks Consultant with Intuit QuickBooks, where his team was rated number one across Intuit.

Bookkeeping Conroe focuses on QuickBooks Online bookkeeping, cleanup, reconciliation, reporting support, and accounting workflow clarity for small businesses and business owners. The firm works closely with clients and their CPAs to bring structure and reliability to QuickBooks Online books.

Texas Roots and Early Service

Thomas grew up in Alvin, Texas and graduated from Alvin High School in 2002. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served for six years. He trained as a Korean linguist at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California and worked as an intelligence and data analyst at Fort Meade, Maryland.

He completed Airman Leadership School, was promoted to Staff Sergeant (E-5), and served as a trainer and supervisor for subordinate airmen. He was honorably discharged in 2008.

Education and Professional Development

After leaving the Air Force, Thomas completed a Bachelor of Arts in Far East Asian Studies at The University of Texas at Austin, building on the language and area-studies foundation from his military training.

He later earned a Master of Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where he also took supplementary coursework in property development and audited real estate development coursework at The Wharton School.

International Professional Background

Following graduate school, Thomas moved to Australia and worked as a landscape architect and project manager for seven years, including roles at McGregor Coxall in Sydney and Melbourne, AECOM, and Arcadia Landscape Architecture. He became a registered landscape architect through the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects.

His international work involved public realm design, infrastructure and development projects, technical documentation, and cross-disciplinary coordination across complex project environments.

Return to Texas and Bookkeeping Conroe

Thomas returned to Texas in 2022. After building operations and business services experience, he joined Intuit in 2024 as a Bookkeeper / QuickBooks Consultant with Intuit QuickBooks. His team was rated number one across Intuit, and he was identified as on track for promotion before leaving to found Bookkeeping Conroe in 2025.
